NCR Irish unit pays $1.5bn dividend

A US technology multinational has taken a $1.5 billion dividend from its Irish unit. NCR Global Holdings, a Dublinbased subsidiary of ATM maker NCR, paid the dividend after recording a surge in profits to $1.51 billion last year.

A US technology multinational has taken a $1.5 billion dividend from its Irish unit. NCR Global Holdings, a Dublinbased subsidiary of ATM maker NCR, paid the dividend after recording a surge in profits to $1.51 billion last year.

The figures make the subsidiary of NCR one of the most profitable companies in the state. NCR channels revenues and profits from a large number of its overseas markets through NCR Global Holdings, the parent for 14 international subsidiaries.
