The National Lottery licence sale should go ahead in the second quarter of 2013 according to a schedule issued by the minister for public expenditure and reform Brendan Howlin.

The National Lottery Bill will be introduced into the Dail in early 2013. The new lottery licence is expected to commence following a transitional period in 2014.
