Ann Fitzgerald is to step down as chief executive of the National Consumer Agency. Fitzgerald announced that she will not be renewing her contract when it expires this Wednesday.

Ann Fitzgerald is to step down as chief executive of the National Consumer Agency. Fitzgerald announced that she will not be renewing her contract when it expires this Wednesday.

The National Consumer Agency is to be amalgamated with the Competition Authority and its board is to be scrapped.
