NAMA's performing loans fall to 21%

NAMA had a “very strong” final quarter in 2011.

The National Asset Management Agency said today the percentage of performing loans in its portfolio at the end of September was 21 per cent, down from 23 per cent in the previous quarter, as it sold a number of income-generating assets.

NAMA generated over €1.4 billion in net cash from operating activities during the quarter and said that it had a third-quarter profit of €317 million, it said in today’s statement. NAMA had cash of €1.9 billion...
