The High Court has ruled that the National Asset Management Agency is a public authority and subject to Freedom of Information requests on environmental issues.
Mr Justice Colm Mac Eochaidh this afternoon upheld the ruling of the Commissioner for Environmental Information made in September 2011 under the 2007 European Communities (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations. The decision related to an application made by Gavin Sheridan in February 2010.
