The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) has confirmed that it has redeemed €3 billion in senior bonds, in line with a plan announced by the agency two weeks ago.

NAMA recently stated that it expects to redeem a similar amount before the end of 2014, assuming that planned asset and loan sales are completed satisfactorily.

The bonds were issued as consideration for the original loans acquired from the participating institutions in 2010 and 2012.
