Italy, for me, is all about the food. I am very proud of my home region of Piedmont, which means ‘the foot of the mountain’.
The good weather there means that the ground is extremely fertile, enabling our produce to become ripe and flavoursome.
Indeed, I would encourage people to taste and enjoy real Italian food from the six lesser known Italian regions - Piedmont, Veneto, Liguria, Le Marche, Puglia and Sardinia.
