Music: Time to get Kinky

Kinky Friedman, modern-day Renaissance man and singing cowboy, returns to Dublin for a performance at Whelan's tonight.

As well as being a much-loved American humorist and former candidate for governor of Texas, he's a detective novel writer, has his own line of tequila, is mates with Willie Nelson and, oh yeah, he writes great tunes too.
