Musgrave, the Irish retailer, had revenues of more than €190 million at its Spanish operations last year, down slightly from its performance in 2008.
Musgrave Espana, which has interests in supermarkets, convenience stores and cash and carry shops, said that sales fell by 3.2 per cent, but that this was a positive result given that most of its stores were in areas of Spain that had ‘‘been hit hard by the crisis’’.
