Ballymore, the property firm owned by developer Sean Mulryan, has been granted planning permission for a massive development on a ten-acre site in the London docklands.

The approval of Ballymore’s plans for Leamouth peninsula, which is close to the stadium for the 2012 Olympics, should boost the value of the site, which is expected to be developed in stages. Ballymore’s plan for the site includes 1,700 homes, offices and ‘creative workspaces’, education, leisure and sports...
