MSD to invest a further €7 million in Carlow

The pharmaceutical giant MSD is to invest another €7 million in its facility on the Dublin Road in Carlow.

The pharmaceutical giant MSD is to invest another €7 million in its facility on the Dublin Road in Carlow.

The move will bring the company's total investment in the plant to €227 million, and will mean the creation of additional jobs in engineering, automation and project management.

"We are on target to commence full operations at Carlow from next year, and estimate that we will produce up to 800 doses of vaccines there every minute,"...
