MS Society wants easier access to medicines

A central fund should be established to ensure equitable access to medicines throughout Ireland, the head of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland has said.

A central fund should be established to ensure equitable access to medicines throughout Ireland, the head of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland has said.

Speaking in advance of World MS Day on Wednesday, Anne Winslow said access to medicines was becoming a serious challenge to people with multiple sclerosis in Ireland.

‘‘It is a huge issue,” she said.
