A factory in the Czech Republic, which is leased by a Dublin plastic mouldings company that went into provisional liquidation last Friday, is expected to be sold.

Mouldpro International, which employs 130 people in Finglas, made plastic moulded casings, including television cabinets, for the electronics industry. The company's clients included Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic.

Mouldpro was forced to close after clients reduced their orders. The firm employs three people and 140 subcontractors in its Czech factory.
