Motorola has tripled its trade sales in Ireland, replacing Nokia as the country's biggest mobile phone dealer, according to figures seen by The Sunday Business Post.
The American manufacturer's trade sales shot up to 35 per cent of all mobiles sold to Irish operators, distributors or shops in the second quarter of 2005.
According to IDC's Western European mobile phone tracker survey, this is up from 11.5 per cent for the same period last year.
