The need for Ireland to take a definitive stance on abortion has been indelibly marked by the deaths of two women.

Just typing the words "abortion procedure England" into Google makes you feel sullied. But for anyone exploring the possibility of a pregnancy termination, or researching an article on same, you do need to know how it's done.

On the NHS choices website, the description is informative and dry-eyed. Still, I didn't manage to read it to the end. "Late abortion: stage one stops the heartbeat of the foetus" was as far as I could get.
