Mother Courage: Deflation once again
In which I lose a jumper and gain a perspective.
Deflation comes from the most unlikely of places. And no, I'm not talking about the flat tyre we discover minutes before heading to a three-year-old's party at Dublin Zoo.
"The zoo is expensive," quips the taxi driver over the howls of Two, who is taking great umbrage at being shoehorned into her baby car seat for the journey.
"It is when you factor in 60 quid in taxi fares," I quip back.
