Most consultants dismiss location of Mater NPH

The Mater Hospital is not the best location for the National Paediatric Hospital (NPH), according to 70 per cent of hospital consultants surveyed by this newspaper.

The nationwide survey revealed just 13 per cent of consultants supported the location, while 17 per cent said they did not know whether the Mater Hospital in Dublin was ‘‘the best location’’ for the children’s hospital.
