Mortgage market stabilising, report suggests

The mortgage market has experienced its third consecutive quarter of growth in numbers of loans issued, according to the latest report from the Irish Banking Federation and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The mortgage market has experienced its third consecutive quarter of growth in numbers of loans issued, according to the latest report from the Irish Banking Federation and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The Mortgage Market Profile shows that 3,856 new mortgages worth €639 million were issued during the fourth quarter of 2011.
