Irish banks approved 2,010 mortgages in November, an increase of 38 per cent from the year-earlier period, NCB Stockbrokers said, citing Irish Banking Federation figures.
In the first eleven months of 2012, mortgage approvals rose 12 per cent to 16,340 mortgages, NCB said, citing the IBF.
