Older customers move online

Older motorists are moving online, with a massive increase in the number of people over 65 buying car insurance online.

According to new figures from AA Ireland, the number of over 65s buying car insurance online almost doubled between 2012 and 2013. Last year almost one in five motorists over 65 who purchased car insurance from AA did so online. A year earlier, just over 10 per cent of those over 65 purchased car insurance online.
