With the launch of two new operators, the number of mobile firms in Ireland now totals eight, which may just be too many for a small, recession-hit country
Last week, at its lavishly decorated Dublin headquarters, Eircom unveiled its glittering new service, eMobile, in a launch reminiscent of the boom years.
With a multimillion-euro ad campaign and branded shops in the busiest shopping areas, Eircom is upping the ante on the mobile market.
