Mobile internet usage soars by 67% in one year
The use of mobile devices to access the internet has increased by 67 per cent worldwide over the last 12 months, new research by StatCounter has shown.
The use of mobile devices to access the internet has increased by 67 per cent worldwide over the last 12 months, new research by StatCounter has shown.
The report found that while desktops remain the most popular way to access the internet (64.6 per cent), mobile has grown rapidly from 17.1 per cent to 28.5 per cent worldwide.
Tablet devices now account for 6.8 per cent of internet usage, compared to 4.8 per cent 12 months ago.
