So the Taoiseach chickened out of yet another debate. He'd want to watch that. Fine Gael correctly judged that the electorate didn't give that much of a hoot in 2011, but Enda's the Taoiseach now and, just as he has exceeded many people's expectations in that role, so those expectations will change in the future.

He says he's not into debating societies, but it might be no harm to get some practice in, all the same....
