Mining: Firm suspended from trading after 'inaccurate' claim

Trading in the shares of Teknomining were suspended last week after it admitted that it had made "misleading and inaccurate" announcements about its reserves and resources.

Trading in the shares of Irish mining company Teknomining were suspended last week after it admitted that it had made "misleading and inaccurate" announcements about its reserves and resources.

The suspension is pending a review of Teknomining's financial position and came at the request of the company's directors after they commissioned five independent experts to review technical data and report on the mining assets of the company.
