During the 1990s Sorrento and Vico became bywords for excess, luxury and wealth. The exclusive roads in Dalkey, south Dublin, gained the nickname Millionaire's Row because of its stellar cast of celebrity residents including Bono, Van Morrison, Neil Jordan and Eddie Irvine.
