Last week, Microsoft unveiled its next operating system, to be called Windows 7.

While rumours abound as to what features the system will include, Tom Murphy, Microsoft’s director of corporate social responsibility in Ireland, said that it will be a new improved version of Windows Vista, the operating system that has suffered bad press for most of its three-year life.
