While Shanghai Motors is readying its version of the Rover 75 near the Huang Pu river, Nanjing Automobile Corporation is preparing to put the MG brand back into production on the banks of the Yangtse.

The Chinese carmaker’s new factory has an annual production of 250,000 units and the company will build the full range of the former K-series petrol engine and the 2-litre L-series diesel.
