Metropolis: To wish and wear

New label Wishbone aims to provide women over 30 with desirable clothes that have a lasting combination of style, luxury and comfort, writes Lisa Brady.

A wish, by its very definition, is a desire, longing or strong inclination for a specific thing. Designer Ann Hardiman felt that her particular wish was universally shared among women in their 30s and beyond - to find a label that was feminine, effortless, cool and luxurious, and understood where they were in their lives.

So she went about making it a reality.
