Associated Newspapers is to launch its new Metro freesheet in Dublin within two weeks, with 60,000 copies to be printed daily.

Associated Newspapers is to launch its new Metro freesheet in Dublin within two weeks, with 60,000 copies to be printed daily.

The Irish Times is expected to take a shareholding in the venture and will print the newspaper at its plant at Citywest in Dublin. The newspaper is aimed at commuters, though Associated has not agreed a deal with CIE to distribute Metro.
