Meteor losses up despite revenue rise

Mobile operator Meteor racked up pre-tax losses of €81 million, despite revenues soaring to €255 million in the 15 months to March, new figures show.

Mobile operator Meteor racked up pre-tax losses of €81 million, despite revenues soaring to €255 million in the 15 months to March, new figures show.

This compared with losses of €35 million in 2004, when revenues were just under €100 million. Operating losses stood at €43million before charging borrowing costs of €39million.
