Mentec, one of Ireland's oldest technology firms, is considering a stock market listing as one option to raise funding for future acquisitions.

Kevin Haverty, the chief executive of Mentec, said the company would consider a flotation on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London to fund a multimillion-euro acquisition later this year. “We are looking at options to fund the strategy and that is one of the options,” he said.
