Highlights in Victor Mee’s sale later this month include an early 20th century, leather, deep buttoned Chesterfield big enough for a large family (€600-€1,200), a pair of elegant Regency-style satinwood cabinets (€3,000-€5,000), and a rare early 20th century Mitchell’s advertising mirror (€2,000-€4,000).

It is 40 years since 18 year-old Victor Mee began his career by opening his own antique shop in Co Cavan.
