John Gibbons, co-managing director of medical publishing group MedMedia, has a shiny new iPad on which to demonstrate his company’s latest digital innovation: a pollen count app for smartphones (and iPads) that has been developed in association with pharmaceutical company Sanofi Aventis. Designed for hay fever sufferers, this is a free app to help people predict how their sinuses are likely to fare on any given day.
