Overcoming the property crash led Galway's John Walsh down a lucrative new business route, providing high-spec cabinetry services to high-end manufacturers.

Walsh established Clinical Cabinets a year ago. From its base in Clarenbridge, the company sells customised furniture to manufacturers in the medical device, pharmaceutical and technology sectors. Its clients include Boston Scientific, Allergan and HID Global.

Walsh established his first business, JW Design, in 1995 aged just 21, to design and make high-quality kitchen...
