Some elements of traditional media must have been a bit cheesed off last week when the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for journalism went to (cue collective shudder) the Huffington Post, beating competition from the Wall Street Journal and Associated Press.

It's the first major award for an online-only news site, which became eligible for Pulitzers only in 2009.
