Lambert’s passing highlights need for indigenous animation

How sad to hear of the death of Eugene Lambert.

His imagination and skill brought such magic to kids, and I hope his family continues the tradition. It got me thinking again about Lambert’s Wanderly Wagon: a real public service broadcasting highlight.

(Let’s face it, you can’t get much more ‘public service’ than an Irish-made children’s series that employs an Irish cast and draws heavily on Irish themes and legends for its narrative.)...
