Property developer Bernard McNamara is the front-runner to buy the former Irish Glass Bottle factory in Dublin, with a bid of more than €400 million.
Final offers for the site were submitted last Wednesday and it is believed that about six bids were received. McNamara is understood to have bid more than €400 million for the 25-acre site in Ringsend, which is being sold by South Wharf and Dublin Port.
