McLoughlins opens €10m centre

Hardware distributor McLoughlins has opened a €10 million distribution centre in Dublin. The new facility in Northern Cross Business Park in Finglas is expected to create 20 full-time jobs over the next 18 months.

McLoughlins chief executive Padraig McLoughlin said the 100,000 square foot facility included showrooms, offices and a state-of-the-art warehouse fitted with a wide-aisle racking system and a computerised picking bin management and replenishment system, linked to remote sales order terminals.
