Businessman Paddy McKillen has lost his London Court of Appeal case to block billionaire brothers Frederick and David Barclay from taking control of the Maybourne luxury hotel group.

McKillen has resisted attempts by the Barclays to take control of the group, launching a lengthy court battle in Britain to prevent them buying Derek Quinlan's stake in the business from the National Asset Management Agency (Nama). He lost the case last year but launched an appeal...
