McKillen gave guarantees of €135m on €2.1bn borrowings

Property developer Paddy McKillen provided personal guarantees of €135 million to secure borrowings of €2.1 billion, a figure which includes €899 million owed to the state-owned Anglo Irish Bank.

Property developer Paddy McKillen provided personal guarantees of €135 million to secure borrowings of €2.1 billion, a figure which includes €899 million owed to the state-owned Anglo Irish Bank.

As part of his challenge against his loans going to the state loans agency Nama, McKillen has said that those personal guarantees could be called in if the state agency pursued its strategy of disposing of assets in the short-to medium term.
