McIlroy: more rough battles on the Horizon

When Rory McIlroy walked away from Chubby Chandler's International Sports Management agency in 2011, it was seen as the act of a strong-willed golfer who made his own decisions in his own interests.

His friend and fellow golfer Graeme McDowell laughed off the idea that McIlroy could have succumbed to outside influence when he joined Conor Ridge's Horizon Sports Management by telling reporters that McIlroy is ''very much his own man''.
