McDonald’s introduces contactless Visa payments in its Irish outlets

McDonald's has introduced a new contactless payments system, which will allow customers to use "touch and go" payment terminals.

McDonald’s has announced the roll-out of contactless Visa payments in its 83 restaurants across Ireland.

The company has installed the new "touch and go" payment terminals in its restaurants and drive thrus.

Adrian Crean, managing director of McDonald’s Ireland, said the company was "delighted to be working with Visa Europe to offer our customers a faster, more convenient and secure way to pay".
