Maze escapee Pol Brennan arrived in Ireland last Friday for the first time in 25 years after being deported from the US in shackles on a Homeland Security surveillance plane.

Maze escapee Pol Brennan arrived in Ireland last Friday for the first time in 25 years after being deported from the US in shackles on a Homeland Security surveillance plane.

Brennan is now in an undisclosed location in the west of Ireland and said it would be ‘‘quite some time’’ before he decides whether or not to return to the North.
