Mazda to bring in new engine

Early next spring, Mazda will introduce a new 2.2-litre diesel engine to the 6 range, replacing the existing 2-litre unit. The new engine will come with three different power versions, 125bhp, 163bhp and 185bhp, with torque varying between 310Nm and

Early next spring, Mazda will introduce a new 2.2-litre diesel engine to the 6 range, replacing the existing 2-litre unit. The new engine will come with three different power versions, 125bhp, 163bhp and 185bhp, with torque varying between 310Nm and 400Nm. All have carbon readings between 147 and 149g/km.

Technically, there is a new higher power common rail system, with advanced injectors, making the car both quiet and very flexible.
