A Mayo hotel has been put into receivership after losing its appeal against a €1million arbitration award.

A Mayo hotel has been put into receivership after losing its appeal against a €1million arbitration award.

Hymany (Pontoon) Ltd asked the High Court to set aside the decision of arbitrator John E O’Reilly in favour of building firm Galkil Ltd.

The arbitration related to a building contract between Hymany, which operates the Pontoon Bridge Hotel at Foxford, Co Mayo, and Galkil, trading as Impact Developments.
