Mayo cinema complex enters receivership following dispute

A cinema complex in Co Mayo controlled by Ward Anderson, the country's largest cinema group, has gone into receivership following a dispute with its main lender.

A cinema complex in Co Mayo controlled by Ward Anderson, the country's largest cinema group, has gone into receivership following a dispute with its main lender.

The Belgian bank KBC installed receivers to the Cineplex in Ballina, a multi-screen cinema complex.

The move came last week, and relates to a €4.5 million bank debt.
