Engineers Ireland is encouraging teachers to avail of a volunteer programme that brings local engineers to talk about real-life maths in the classroom.

Engineers Ireland is encouraging teachers to avail of a volunteer programme that brings local engineers to talk about real-life maths in the classroom.

"The time has come for all of us to recognise and reward the careers that can make a real difference, such as teaching and engineering and stop glamorising the professions that have failed us”, said John Power, the director general of the organisation.
