Martin to announce €4bn science and tech funding

A major programme involving an investment of close to €4billion in science and technology over the next seven years will be announced today by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheal Martin, the Taoiseach and several other minister

The programme will focus on postgraduate education, with the target of doubling the number of PhD students and plans to double the number of companies engaged in research and development.
