Pay boost for Mueller

Aer Lingus chief executive Christoph Mueller enjoyed a boost to his pay in 2013 based on his ''superior performance, according to the company's annual report, which was issued last week. Mueller's remuneration, including pay, bonus and pension, rose to €1.52 million in 2013 from €1.29 million, the report showed. His basic salary during 2013 was €475,000, while combined bonuses added €820,000, with an additional €175,000 by way of a pension contribution.
