Strong earnings at Primark boost ABF.

Associated British Foods (ABF), the British sugar and ingredient company that also owns retailer Primark, has been buoyed by strong sales at the fashion chain.

An interim management statement published last week indicated that Primark's third-quarter sales were 22 per cent ahead at constant currency.
